The Postal Administration of Sao Tomé & Principe was running out of postage and for this reason they have overprinted 3 stamps of the issue Olive Ridley Turtle from 2001 with LOCAL até 20g. and cancelled the DL 5000 in red. As per the new agent of Sao Tomé & Principe, less then 150 Mini Sheets have been overprinted, so that this is a rather rare issue. The 4th stamps is not available, since the quality was not good enough and the overprints were destroyed. We have been informed by the publisher of the Michel Catalogue, that these 3 overprints will be taken up in the Catalogue.
